Philippines have a lot to offer, it is a country known for its pristine beaches, caves and historical sites. Below are some of the activities you can take pleasure.

Trekking on Banaue Rice Terraces – Situated in northern Luzon within Cordillera Mountain range, sit hundreds of miles of terraces carved into the sides of the mountains. These terraces are more than 2000 years of age and have proclaimed UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Hike on the ancient walls together with emerald green rice paddies to see the villages of the Ifugao tribes.
Swim at the lake in Mt. Pinatubo – Its crater has turned into a dazzling sapphire blue lake. A 2 hour trek towards the top takes you to spectacular scenery and you will be rewarded with a lovely swim on the top.

Chocolate Hills in Bohol – With over 1,200 beautifully formed hills dot the landscape in shades of green and chocolate brown.

Visiting deserted Islands – Philippines is consists of more than 7,100 islands, and finding one that’s deserted and uninhabited isn’t hard to do. You may visit Hundred Islands located in Alaminos, Pangasinan; just a drive away from Manila.

Diving – Philippines is home to one of the most diverse coral reefs as well as marine life in the world. Do not fancy heading deep below the waves? Do not have to worry as the waters throughout the Philippines are great for snorkelers and you do not have to take a boat – simply snorkel off shore.

Surfing – Love surfing? Go to Siargao, Baler or La Union. Siargao is considered as the surfing capital of the Philippines. It is located in the province of Surigao Del Norte. You can take a plane from Manila directly to Surigao, and take a ferry going to Siargao.

Try a halo halo– Halo Halo along with buko pies is said to be Filipino’s favourite dessert, comprising of crushed ice, boiled sweets, beans, corn, fruit, evaporated milk, and sometimes ube and ice cream.

El Nido beach – El Nido is considered as one of the most stunning and untouched beaches in the Philippines, situated in Palawan. Here, you will be astounded with turquoise waters surrounded by white sands along with jade green foliage.

Puerto Princesa Underground River – Go on a boat and ride down over the world’s longest underground river in Palawan. Recently, it was named among the New 7 Wonders of Nature.
