Top 10 Free Things to do in Dubai

Dubai is a young city. It is hard to believe that this sprawling metropolis was a simple fishing village 4-5 decades ago. Today, it is totally different.

Dubai is home to some of the best architectural marvels in the world. The city has broken several world records by building the tallest building, the largest shopping mall, the largest indoor ski park, and the biggest indoor theme park, to mention a few examples.

My First Travel Experience In The Southern Part of Cebu

Asia/Budget Travel/Travel Stories
My First Travel Experience In The Southern Part of Cebu

I always love exploring places that I’ve never visited yet. So as my sister, Aira.

Before I go to Manila for a business convention, my sister and I planned with her friends (Denise, JB, and Shiela) to go to Oslob, Cebu. One of my friends told me before that they had great experiences in traveling to this place. Since we’re on a limited budget, I only bring around P3,000 ($75) pocket money. It’ll include our gas contribution, barge fee, accommodation, food, pasalubong and other amenities.

After Valentine’s Day, we’re all set for the trip. At 2 AM in the morning, we took off from Bacolod City to Bais City. It’s a 3-hour road trip going to the Bais port. It only takes us an hour to reach the southern part of Cebu. After we successfully landed, our Love Month adventure begins.

Backpacking to Brig, Interlaken,Zurich, Geneva Switzerland, and Lake Como Italy

Woke up early for my 5:50 train going to Andamat to Chiaaso to Como Italy. If you have Swiss Pass, it’s only valid till Chiasso, you need extra ticket to get to Como San Giovanni.

Don’t sleep! Or you will miss such lovely sights. Everywhere you look at is simply magnificent. Beautiful nature! It’s very easy to move from one train to another platform. So dont worry if you only have few minutes to transfer to another train. The SBB trains are very punctual!

Travelling to Venice, Verona, Florence, Pisa, Milan Italy

Travelling to Venice, Verona, Florence, Pisa, Milan Italy

I woke up early for my 11 am Wizz air flight to Venice Italy. No flight delays, and the weather is perfectly fine. The plane landed at exactly 12:15 pm. Since I do not carry any euros, I withdrawn money from the ATM near the exit.

I looked for bus heading to Piazza Roma, the fare cost 12€ one way. If you need RT you can get it for 22€. Piazza Roma is the last stop. Bus ATVO. The bus driver also gave me a free map. As soon as I sat, I started mapping out the places I would like to visit.

Travelling to Croatia’s Plitvice National Park and Slovenia’s Lake Bled

Travelling to Croatia’s Plitvice National Park and Slovenia’s Lake Bled

Day 1
It’s been a while since I travel alone, more than a year I think. I kinda miss it, so here I am, at florence bus terminal in Praha, about to embark on my new escapade! I’m going to Croatia and then Slovenia.
I’m taking Flixbus that departs at 7:30am to Vienna Edberg. I prefer Flixbus among other bus companies because it has more room for your legs, well, I’m not tall but I get uncomfortable with small space like the Student Agency Bus, another advantage of this bus is the price, it’s a lot cheaper compare to others.

After 3 hours waiting in Vienna bus station, I took the bus headed to Zagreb, Croatia.

Skydiving in Czech Republic

Adventure Travel/DIY Itineraries/Travel Tips
Skydiving in Czech Republic

One of my greatest challenges to myself is to do Skydiving. I did bungee jumping before, so this year, I took the challenge. I skydived in my 27th Birthday!

I booked my sky diving at Skycentrum, you can contact them through Veronika (fiserova.veronika@post.cz) – She’s the nicest ever! I paid 5620 KC (213 Euros) which includes Tandem jump + USB HD Video and Photos, and RT transfers.

The jump took place in Pribram airport, an hour away from Prague. The shuttle will take you there, as soon as you arrive in the place, you’ll see the amazing crew. First, you will be asked to wear the jump suit, get short training or should I say rules to follow when jumping. You have nothing to be scared off, all the crew are professional.
