Do-It-Yourself Tour to El Nido and Puerto Princesa, Palawan Philippines

Do-It-Yourself Tour to El Nido and Puerto Princesa, Palawan Philippines

On Sept 22, 2012, I left manila for Puerto Princesa at 6:55am via Airphilexpress. It costs 1400PHP for 2 persons RT(Promo). We arrived at Puerto Princesa airport before 8am then, Eulen Van picked us there then headed to the terminal to pick up the other passengers.

The fare from the airport to El Nido costs 600PHP per person. The road from Taytay to El Nido is really bumpy! But then, the views are splendid! Travel Time is approximately 5 to 6 hours with 2 stop over.
We arrived at Stunning Vistas before 4pm. I booked for 2 nights there 🙂 cost us 2600 for 2 people. Fascinating views, since it is beachfront.

We took the private tour, cost us 2500 each for A and C tour – Island Hopping.
Tour A consists Small Lagoon, Big Lagoon, Shimizu Island, Secret Lagoon, Seven Commando Beach. While Tour B consists of Snake Island, Cudugnon Cave, Cathedral Cave, Pinagbuyutan Island

Fabulous, Wonderful, Fantastic. I can’t find the perfect word to describe how happy I was seeing those enchanting beaches… White sand, clear/blue water, and the mountains… All green… the sky is so blue. There are many tourists we encountered.
From 6am to 2pm, they cut the supply of electricity, I don’t know why, but it has always been like that in El Nido. Poor network signal too. But it’s still fine with me, since I went there to relax, and not be bothered by work. EL NIDO is a paradise, I love it.

The long travel from PP to El Nido vice versa is actually nice, since there is no traffic, and it’s rare to encounter vehicles. Mostly trees and beaches are the sceneries you can only see.
Before 11am, we reached PP, and took a tricycle to get to Tropical Sun Inn. We paid 4600 for our 1 day lodging (1200), fireflies tour (1100 each), City Tour (600PHP each)
Puerto Princesa City Tour consists Crocodile Farm, Mitra’s Ranch, Immaculate Conception Church, Sea Port Area, Butterfly Garden, Public Market, Plaza Cuartel

The City Tour Is fun. Our City tour started 1pm and finished 5:30pm. 5:30pm dinner for our fireflies watching, then, headed to Ihawig. It was dark and only the fireflies lighten the night. It was wonderful. Trees are glimmering. Feels like Christmas has started: D
