Backpacking to Brig, Interlaken,Zurich, Geneva Switzerland, and Lake Como Italy

I spent my night walking around Brig. Its very lovely and peaceful place!

Day 6

July 25 Lugano + Lake Como Bellagio

Woke up early for my 5:50 train going to Andamat to Chiaaso to Como Italy. If you have Swiss Pass, it’s only valid till Chiasso, you need extra ticket to get to Como San Giovanni.

Don’t sleep! Or you will miss such lovely sights. Everywhere you look at is simply magnificent. Beautiful nature! It’s very easy to move from one train to another platform. So dont worry if you only have few minutes to transfer to another train. The SBB trains are very punctual!

I arrived in Como, and bought my round-trip ticket to Bellagio for 7.5€. I just wanna see the place so I will not spend much time. Took bus c30 11:50 and arrived at 12:59.

Ready to be amazed? Behold! Bellagio Lake Como Italy

The 1 hour and 10 minute bus ride will let you enjoy the scenic beauty of Lake Como. When you arrive in Belaggio, you can opt to relax in the bench, just enjoying the view.
From Bellagio, I went to Lugano and took the second to the last cruise from Lugano-Paradiso RT.

From lugano, take train going to Belinzona, and transfer to Locarno. From Locarno, take train going to Domodossola, and from Domodossola to Brig. The view from Locarno to domodossola is also splendid!

Day 7

July 26, Interlaken
Woke up early to catch my early train to interlaken. I booked my accommodation at The Tent Village

The Tent Village

The Tent Village

It’s very nice and cozy.
I went to grindleward from Interlaken Ost to Klein scheidegg. Take note, Swiss pass is only until Grindleward. You need to pay for Jungfraug if that’s your final destination. With 50% Swiss pass reduction, cost around 139 chf. That’s still a lot. If you only want to go to kleine, youll pay 39 chf RT.

Next is, Geneve!
From interlaken ost, i took the train heading to bern, and from bern i transferred to train bound to Geneve Airport. Get off at Geneve. Geneve Mont Blanc is walking distance from the station so there’s really no need to take a bus. It’s a very busy city. The best tourist spot for me here is the fountain. Tje highest one in switzerland. There are also few museums and cathedrals worth visiting.

Day 8
Chur to Tirana via Bernina Express.
Bernina express is free if you have swiss pass. You only need to make a seat reservation, 14chf one way. Take note, it’s not possible not to have the reservation.

On the way to Tirano is really beautiful! Look at the pictures I got.

I didn’t spend much time in Tirano because I’m only interested in the scenic views.

I want to see this place during winter! It must be lovelier than summer.❤️❤️❤️

Day 9 Cruising to lake thun to interlaken west

Its my last day in SwitZerland, so to relax and unwind, i took the cruise from Lake Thun to Interlaken West. It was magnificent. I love it. I never felt so peaceful like that. It helped me imagine my future.

Lovely isnt it?

Next, Zurich. My last stop.

Before I END my travel story. I must say that the swiss pass is worth every penny! I bought 4 days for 251 franc. Best decision ever. Took me to the beautiful places in Swiss.

Im now here in Zurich, it’s a lovely city. I like it more than Geneva. It’s calm.

My escapade ends here. I’m heading back to Prague in few hours.

Signed, 7:30PM Zurich, Switzerland.
