First time in Vietnam: My Valentine Escapade in Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh

Travel Stories
First time in Vietnam: My Valentine Escapade in Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh

I booked my flight via Philippine airlines and Cebupacific, total of $250usd RT. As soon as I arrived in Saigon International Airport, i looked for the bus 152 at the airport exit. This bus is probably the cheapest means of transportation to get out of the airport. I just pay 5000 dong for myself, and another 5000 dong for my baggage. Get off at Ben Thanh Market and took a cab heading to Saigon Pearl in which I stayed for 1 week. I cannot suggest for an accommodation, since I stayed with my cousin here for free. But you may opt for Booking.com to check for cheapest accommodation available. The weather in Ho Chi Minh is like in Manila, it’s HOT! It a beautiful country yet i must warn you! You’re gonna love to buy bags and shoes because it’s cheaper here! There are plenty of motorcycles everywhere, and with regards to transportation, you must be familiar of bus number destination 🙂 It’s pretty cheap though. Since I didn’t travel alone, we usually take a cab. Not much people can speak English! Vietnam Adventure Part 2 DALAT

Discovering the Island of Batanes, Philippines ~ My Sanctuary

Discovering the Island of Batanes, Philippines ~ My Sanctuary

I’ve been anticipating my plan to go to Batanes last December 2013, but my flights have been canceled twice, so I have to go for another airlines which is Philippine Airlines. Travelling to Batanes has been tagged as really expensive, well that’s partly true. To tour Batanes the cheapest way, you have to wait for Airline Seatsale! Since I cannot wait anymore, I booked my flight despite its high price. I intend to unwind in Batanes, so this time, I availed of Full Board Package at Batanes Seaside Lodge instead of doing in on my own. My package details can be found here. Since I am travelling solo, I pay P16,000. I also made a request to take a motorbike instead of Van. Even if you do it on your own, it will still cost you much. You would need to hire a tourguide, or a car, since there isn’t always PUV passing by. I think you have to hire a tricycle or rent a bike. I arrived in Batanes 8am via PAL Express. FREEZING COLD! A guy from Batanes Seaside lodge fetched me ( I forgot his name!) I love my room! It’s facing the beach, and there’s also […]

One Day Tour to Corregidor Philippines via Sun Cruises

Philippines/Tour Package/Travel Stories
One Day Tour to Corregidor Philippines via Sun Cruises

I availed 3 tickets for a One Day Tour in Corregidor last year during the Travel Mart Expo in Moa for only P1600 each. That includes the RT Ferry, Tour Bus and Buffet Lunch. In case you missed it, you can check Sun Cruises homepage for the prices. There are also several activities you might want to try, camping is also possible. Corregidor is known for its historical value. It’s a good place to go back to the times when Japanese invaded PH in 1941. It is a small island in Cavite, and approximately 48km away from Manila Bay. I called Sun Cruises for advance reservation on January 16, 2014. How to get to Sun Cruises? VIA EDSA Take MRT going to Taft Ave MRT From Taft MRT transfer to LRT 1 Edsa and go to LRT Vito Cruz (P12) From Vito Cruise, walk to Rizal Stadium and take the orange jeep going to CCP Drop off to Sun Cruises Go to Reservation Boot and get your Boarding Sticker. Your Group Name, Seat # and Bus # is indicated in this sticker. Pay P100 per person for fuel surcharge. — Start — 7 AM – 8:00 AM – Checking Time […]

First time Visiting Macau, Hongkong and Shenzhen China – Tri City Tour

Travel Stories
First time Visiting Macau, Hongkong and Shenzhen China – Tri City Tour

My friend, my sister and I decided to take a vacation in Macau, Hongkong, and Shenzhen China. Of course, this is prior to my visit to South Korea. We purchased our plane tickets via CebuPacificair, Manila to Macau and Hongkong to Manila. We actually encountered problem at the immigration, they thought we’re just too young! We just gave a silly explanation that we have to tour the world before the world ends on December 2012! Flight to Manila to Macau is less than 2 hours. We arrived at Macau airport around 9 in the evening. It was freezing cold! 15 degree Celsius. We were all wearing shorts with our sneakers; we have no idea that it was cold during the month of March or perhaps because of the typhoon. We have no room accommodation for that night as we intend to walk around and search. Macau is indeed a beautiful city, full of lights because of the casinos. We met few Filipinas and helped us around, but actually they just brought as to Mocha and let us play. In the end, we left them as we are tired and have no interest to play in casino. As we search for […]
