When we put the words “best” and “pizza” side by side, we just can’t help but think about Italy. Locals and foreigners alike have their own preferences and definitions of how a great pizza should be, a challenge gracefully conquered by Naples, Italy. First on our list of recommendations is a rustic restaurant called Da Michele. Take note that there are tons of people there and no reservations. Plus they only serve two kinds of pizzas: pizza margherita and pizza marinara. Having read that, you might be hesitant but don’t miss out on it! These two pizzas will be some of the best you’ve ever had. Next is Lombardi 1892, they have been open and cooking for generations and yet their pizzas are as delicious as it ever was. Other dishes could also be ordered, but prioritize their specialty: pizza with smoked provola cheese.

Neuschwanstein Castle’s Grandeur in Germany

Just how grand and appreciated is Neuschwanstein Castle? Well, it’s been featured in a lot of films and has been the inspiration for the sleeping beauty castle, yes THE “Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle.” It’s visited by over 1.3 million people a year. Located at a rugged hill just above Hohenschwangau village, it was commissioned by Ludwig II of Bavaria as his personal refuge, but was opened in 1886 after his death. The castle was never finished, if it had been then it would have had over 200 interior rooms instead of 14. Three years was their estimation before it was finished, but since Ludwig II wanted everything to be perfect, it took longer and wasn’t finished even at his death 17 years later. Neuschwanstein Castle is well equipped with the modern technology of their time like toilets with automatic flush on every floor and even an air heating system for the entire castle. In the courtyard, you can find an astonishing inner garden and even as far as an artificial cave. Of course we can’t forget to mention the two story Byzantine style throne room, with paintings that depict angels, which ironically does not have a throne since Ludwig II […]

The Eden Project was opened to the public back in May 2000 and it has since then collected plants from all over the world and placed them in the artificial biodomes. But all of this is not only for show, it has become a great source of knowledge towards a better sustainable future. Located there is the world largest greenhouse, the Rainforest Biome. All the sights and smell of a rainforest just within your reach. The Tropical Biome gives you a glimpse of all the tropical plants you might have only seen in pictures. The Mediterranean Biome displays arid plants like olives and grape vines, there are also various sculptures present. Then there’s the Outdoor Biome which shows plants that grow on the temperate regions of the world like lavender, sunflower and hemp. Other important things that they show and demonstrate are the different products that come from the plants.
