Exploring Europe at night time can be an excellent way to ensure that you are getting the most from your travels. After all, you don’t want to tread the same tourist trail as everyone else. Many cities in Europe never sleep. This is the perfect time to escape the heat and make sure that you are getting off the tourist track. At night, many cities come to life. Whether you are in London or Lisbon, there is always something unique to do.

Exploring the nightlife of Europe doesn’t mean that you have to go bar-hopping. Exploring any city after hours is the perfect way to escape the hordes of people and the searing heat of a city enclave.

Here are five of the best European nightspots to visit.

  1.    Brussels

Belgian beer is a large appeal for many. But, there is so much more to Brussels than beer.You can go to the many night markets that this gorgeous place has to offer. Local markets sell much more than the usual tourist tack. Food and clothes are a great reason to go. What could be better than visiting a night market and indulging in the gastro-delights of what Brussels has to offer? The jazz scene in Brussels is thriving too. So, head to a cool, jazz club and soak in the classic atmosphere.

  1.    London

Visit a boat party London for the best kind of London after hours. Boat parties along the Thames have seen a resurgence in popularity. With themed evenings located on the river, this is a cool and contemporary way to see London at night. What’s more, you don’t have to suffer the heaving crowds. Just board your boat and dance the night away. All of this is done while exploring and discovering more of a thriving nightlife that has made London so popular.

  1.    Paris

If you are something of a night owl, this won’t restrict you in Paris. They say that many capitals do not sleep, but Paris is the exception to the rule. It never does sleep. The museums are open until the small hours of the morning, and the nightlife is bustling.  The Palais de Tokyo is open all year round and is a must-see attraction at night. Sit by the Seine and enjoy the European cafe culture that is so prominent in Paris.

Walking night tours have been popular in Rome for the last decade. After all, Rome can be blistering hot and is always busy. A walking tour of Rome can ensure that you see all of the major attractions. They are all illuminated and look simply stunning when bathed against a moonlight glow. Who doesn’t want to explore Madrid? At night, this city comes alive. It’s a thriving, urban metropolis that is sure to please the younger generations. Head to the rooftop bar at the Room Mate Oscar. This is a great place to see the cool skyline of the city, with a drink in hand. Parties in Madrid are legendary.
