Japan is an ancient county made up of 4 main islands. This means she is blessed with harbors and shores all round. Locals and tourist enjoy this fact and enjoy the great sceneries available here. Most tourists who come here find the shores more interesting, as well as other mind refreshing sites. Are you planning a getaway, here are some reasons to consider Japan.

1. Home to ancient sites
Japan has some of the most ancient sites on earth, with most of them found in Kyoto. In Kyoto alone, there are 17 acknowledged UN world heritage sites, which are surrounded by ancient temples and shrines where the Japanese people worship. You should find it fun visiting these sites and get to understand the secret and stories behind these heritage sites.

2. Visit the Jigokudani monkey park
Japan is a land of active volcanoes, and is also blessed with wild life. Jigokudani Monkey Park is a major tourist attraction in japan, where there are numerous monkeys that enjoy swimming in the warm water from the ground. These monkeys survive the cold winter season by staying close to the hot springs that make the surroundings warm and habitable.

3. See modern life with Tokyo tower
The Tokyo tower is the second tallest structure in japan, which serves as the main transmission and communication center in Tokyo. As a tourist, you can climb this tower to as high as you can get, and get a magnificent view of the entire city from the center. However, this may not be fun at all for persons who are afraid of heights.

4. Traditional spa and massage treatment

The locals in Japan understand the true value of spas and massage therapies, and will give you an experience of your life. The reason why spa treatments here are different from any other in the world is because they use warm water from the hot springs, which is also believed to cure skin defects. Life is expensive here in japan, so is the quality of life. You can head here if you want to experience the real value of quality life, and be served with the best.

5. Wind and water surfing

With japan having 4 major islands, it has many shores and beaches where tourists and locals can enjoy at. Tourists head here during summer and the warm season to swim in the unclogged beaches. The good thing with these beaches is that, water is unpolluted and one can get some privacy in the same because the shorelines are vast, hence less congestion.
