Some Mistakes Traveling Parties Commit When Applying for Vietnam Visa on Arrival

Travelers going to Vietnam can easily obtain a visa by getting a Vietnam visa on arrival. It is said to be the most convenient way of being able to enter the country, especially since the whole process is mostly online. In fact, every Vietnam visa service can help group travelers with this option. The steps are easy; one has to fill out visa information, pay the service fee, wait for the approval letter, and then travel to a Vietnam airport and present the letter to have his or her passport stamped. Likewise, they can also be able to get an urgent Vietnam visa at an affordable price. While the whole process is quite easy to begin with, a lot of foreign travelers often commit certain mistakes when they try to get visa on arrival. Here are some of them: • A lot of travelers often fall prey to the notion that they can already get a visa directly upon arrival at the airport, only to have their flights cancelled and/or delayed or play the waiting game at the venue to have their visa approved because they failed to go online at their home country. It is very important for travelers […]

Arizona’s Ultimate Rafting Experience

Adventure Travel/Destinations/North America
Arizona’s Ultimate Rafting Experience

For the most adventurous travellers, white water rafting is one of the best activities you can find all over the world. With this being the case, it can sometimes be a daunting task to find the right rafting destination. All fears aside, one of the top places to go white water rafting is the Colorado River down in the Grand Canyon. It is an adventure so wild, that you need multiple days to finish the trip. There are actually a few ways that you can go about taking a rafting trip through the Grand Canyon. The first is rafting into the canyon and then hiking out to the upper rim. The other option is to hike down to the bottom followed by a multiday rafting trip out of the canyon. Either way, you cannot go wrong when you are visiting one of the most dynamic destinations in America. Going with the latter of the two, many people prefer to hike down into the Grand Canyon as opposed to hiking up. Depending on which trail you take to the bottom, it will probably be around 7 miles long. It is suggested that you start your hike as early as possible, so […]

Jet Boating at the Heart of the Reversing Falls

Destinations/North America
Jet Boating at the Heart of the Reversing Falls

Before getting on a small jet boat, you put on a giant, baggy wet suit. You leave everything you do not want to get wet in the car, and you head onboard for a new adventure. As you make your way to where the fresh and salt water meet, you notice the rapid-like whirlpools that your boat is headed directly towards. You are about to take on one of the world’s natural phenomenon known as the Reversing Falls. Up in Saint John, New Brunswick in eastern Canada, the Reversing Falls takes place where the Saint John River meets the Bay of Fundy. Before reaching the bay, the river first squeezes through a narrow gorge. Upon arrival, high tide blocks the river from entering the bay and creates a reversing effect. With the Saint John River essentially turning around, we in turn get the falls. Luckily for you, the existence of the Reversing Falls gives you another opportunity to explore something new. There is only one company that is approved and available to take on the rapids, and that is the Reversing Falls Jet Boat Rides. With their specially designed boats, you get to go closer to the falls than any […]

Fenway Park: Visiting America’s Oldest Ball Park

Destinations/North America
Fenway Park: Visiting America’s Oldest Ball Park

It is known that America’s favorite pastime is the sport of baseball. From Babe Ruth to Jackie Robinson to Barry Bonds, baseball has grown and evolved to support the American culture. If there is one constant in Major League Baseball, it would have to be the iconic Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts. Opening its gates in 1912, Fenway is the oldest standing ballpark within Major League Baseball and is home to the 2013 World Series Champions: The Boston Red Sox. When visiting Boston, you have the opportunity to take a walking tour of Fenway and go back through over 100 years of baseball history. Excluding Wrigley Field (which opened in 1914), there is only one other ballpark that has been running for over 50 years; that of course is Dodger Stadium, which opened its doors in 1962. Taking a tour of Fenway Park is most likely to be the most interesting part of your trip to Boston. With its reasonable prices (no ticket is more $16), the one-hour tour will take you all around the ballpark with more stories than you can imagine. A highlight of the tour would have to be going up to the press box; it provides […]

Take the tourist trail in LA

Destinations/North America
Take the tourist trail in LA

What I am about to tell you, which you won’t understand until you see it, is that LA is HUGE. The map makes it looks so compacted and easy to travel around…but it really isn’t, trust me. My name is Hannah, and I’m the resident travel expert at Official-Esta.com. In this travel feature, I’m going to be explore how you get on, and off the tourist trail in Los Angeles, so that you can really maximise your trip. Let’s get started. Plan to stay in LA for a while if you’re going to visit. There is so much to do, you won’t pack it in to one visit though, so be warned, you may have to book another trip as soon as you get home. Obviously you have to go and see the walk of fame! Like my opening warning, it’s bigger than you expect, stretching for 2 or 3 blocks. While on the subject of film and TV, if you have a car then you need to make your way into the hills for the tourist shot in front of the Hollywood sign, it isn’t very well signposted (ironically) so you may want to ask the hotel desk to […]
