If you have a car or some other means of transportation going to the nearest airport, this is certainly worth trying. 2. Booking Midweek Flights Another way you can get cheap tickets is to book midweek flights. The airfares during these days are usually cheaper than for weekend flights. So if flying during weekend is not necessary, try and book during the midweek and you may be able to secure for yourself cheap airplane tickets. 3. Buy Tickets In Advance Although it is still possible to get cheap last minute flights, you are better off searching for them ahead of your trip. 4. How To Apply For Australian Holiday Visa

Visa

If you are planning to visit Australia for tourism or business, then the best way to apply for an Australian holiday visa is to get an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). Without a valid visa, you will not be allowed to enter Australia except if you are an Australian or New Zealand citizen. The ETA will serve as your Australian holiday visa. You will be allowed to gain entry into Australia within a 12 month period. If the validity of your passport is less than 12 months, then the ETA would be valid for the life of the passport. Once given, the ETA would let you stay in Australia for a period of 3 months on each visit within 12 months when the visa is granted. The Electronic Travel Authority has replaced the traditional visa label in your passport. It is electronically issued and details of your approval will be recorded on the government database. If you changed passport after being granted an ETA, you must reapply for a new one to be attached to the new passport. For tourism or business purposes, you will not be allowed to stay in Australia for over 3 months per visit. If you plan […]

What does winter sports insurance cover?

Travel Insurance

According to the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA) about one third of people setting off to enjoy a winter sports holiday do so without having arranged any insurance cover. Still more alarming is the fact that this percentage rises to nearly one half when the travellers concerned are under 35 years old – the very age group for which winter sports are most likely to appeal. In order to consider just what protection these uninsured sportsmen and women are missing out on, it might be helpful to take a closer look at just what winter sports insurance covers. Specialist insurance Although the precise elements of cover might vary from one insurer to another, this might be described as specialist insurance, since many standard travel insurance packages may not provide adequate protection for all winter sports activities. You might want to arrange your winter sports insurance, therefore, through specialists such as Bengo Travel. Nature of the sports Winter sports naturally involve an element of danger. Of course you might try to stay safe on the slopes, but accidents may happen. It’s no fun to suffer an injury, but it’s even less fun to need to be rescued from some remote piste […]
