Baguio: Strawberries, Cold Weather and Paradise

Being a tropical country, the people in the Philippines, may they be tourists or locals, find ways to cool themselves down. That’s why thousands flock to the coldest city in the country: Baguio. You won’t just cool yourself down, but you get to experience all its attractions and not to mention some of the best strawberry jam there is. Getting to Baguio can be quite a struggle in return for paradise. From Manila, you have to ride a bus for 8 hours and that’s not the bad part. Since it’s located high up in the mountains, you have to endure hours of zigzagged paths making your meal useless. Once you’ve thankfully arrived, check in to any one of the various hotels and inns available, just make sure that you booked ahead of time, it’s a very popular destination. Baguio is famous for their delicious strawberries and jam. Tons of strawberries are sold almost anywhere you look, but a better way to have them is of you pick them yourself.
