I have been to several parts of the Philippines, and I’ve seen its wonders. Among all the places I visited, below are the top 5 that leaves a good impression to me. 1. El Nido, Palawan Consists of several breath-taking islands, el nido is truly a paradise. I love the blue sea and the greenest mountains. People in this place are all nice and very accommodating. 2. Puerto Princesa, Palawan – Not much to see, but I enjoy the city tour, firefly watching, crodile farm, as well visiting historical places. This is also where the famous Underground River is located. People are very friendly. 3. Sagada, Mountain Province – If you’re a person looking for an adventure, I would highly suggest this place. You will do trekking, spelunking, hiking, and more! Looking for Partner to Volunteer Abroad

Looking for Partner to Volunteer Abroad

Anyone interested to volunteer abroad? I wanted to travel across Asia and also do some volunteering works while embracing their culture. But I don’t have anyone to go with me. It’s going to be backpacking. So if you are an adventure seeker, I would be very happy to go with you. This will be my plan. We can volunteer in Chiang Tai Thailand and Kanchaburi Thai(159USD, accommodation and lunch), as well Honoi, Vietnam for 2 weeks each at least. Since Chiang Rai is close to Burma/Myammar, we can cross the border thru Tuktuk to Burma and Laos, we can do sightseeing after our volunteering hours (can be weekend). From Chiang Rai, we can go to Kanchaburi Thailand(Shooting Location for the movie First Little Thing Called Love of Mario Maurer :D) for another 2 weeks. From here, we will proceed to Bangkok, since this is where the airport is located. Then, we proceed to Cambodia for short sightseeing and then fly to Vietnam perhaps take a train or bus. We can do 1-2 weeks volunteering in Vietnam. From Vietnam, we can do short sightseeing to Bali Indonesia, and then to Malaysia (last stop) – then go back to Philippines. This adventure […]

Pros And Cons Of Exchanging Money Overseas

From the hustle and bustle of Southeast Asia to the rustic charm of Europe, millions of travellers head abroad on sensational holidays each year. Of course, booking an overseas adventure takes a fair bit of preparation, with hotel accommodations, car hiring and airline reservations all factoring into the planning process. Not only is it essential to sort out the logistics of an international vacation, but careful attention should be paid to practical matters before leaving home. Chief among these concerns is determining whether or not to exchange currency in a foreign land. Exploring the Exchange Process International travellers often need to exchange their dollars for local currency. Many overseas adventurers simply pack a large amount of money and exchange it upon touching down on foreign soil. Most international airports have exchange facilities in arrivals terminals and can help voyagers sort out their currency needs before venturing onwards. Perhaps the greatest benefit of exchanging cash in the airport is simply the convenience factor. Many travellers do not know how to exchange currency in Australia. Some international visitors will even make several trips to local exchange facilities, exchanging money as the need arises. Exchanging Cash At Home Taking large amount of Australian […]

Holiday Preparation Tips

With summer holidays approaching, you might be eagerly awaiting your summer get-away. Whether you’re taking an all inclusive trip abroad or going on a guided coach tour around Europe. This guide should help you organise all the things you’ll need on your trip. Travel Documents One of the most important things to remember when travelling abroad is to ensure you have all the necessary travel documents you will need for on your travels. The most important of course being your passport. You will need to ensure that your passport is valid for six months beyond the final day of your trip. Be sure to take any required Visas with you as some countries may require multiple entry visas. Do not forget to take a copy of any travel insurance documents you have and all the necessary details such as phone numbers and instructions on how to claim on your insurance, in the unlikely event that you may need to.  Of course you will also need to take any travel related documents such as boarding passes that you will require while travelling. Luggage Make sure to check with the appropriate travel providers what luggage allowances are made where available. In most […]

Beat Jet Lag By Taking a Transatlantic Cruise

Cruise Vacations
Beat Jet Lag By Taking a Transatlantic Cruise

By passing through a time zone roughly on a daily basis, you manage to avoid that horrible jet lag feeling that you usually get when flying across the miles. The West to East type of jet lag is the worst – so why not take the journey at your leisure in the comfort of a cruise ship complete with restaurants, theatres, swimming pools and all of the amenities you desire, rather than being cooped up in an aeroplane seat! Jet lag, which is medically referred to as desynchronosis is tiredness and the body’s confusion after a long aircraft journey. Due to the fact that the aeroplane crosses several time zones, the body’s internal clock and circadian rhythms are disrupted and this leads to the person feeling lethargic, drowsy and they will find it difficult to adjust to the new time zone. On a cruise ship your bedroom is on board, meaning that even if you have a standard stateroom you are never far from your bed – can you imagine trying to sleep in anything less than a business class seat?! Not comfortable, that’s for sure. And there’s no opportunity to freshen up properly or eat a decent meal when […]
