While some people wouldn’t think much about horseback riding, it’s actually a big thing in Ireland. If ever you’re looking for the best horseback vacations, then look no further because Ireland has it all. The famous Connemara ponies even originated here. Of course it’s not the only breed present, there’s also the Irish Hunter and Irish Cob. Don’t worry because their horseback riding is suitable even for beginners. Ireland doesn’t offer just one concentrated place where tourists are allowed to ride. Donegal is a beautiful coastal village which tourists can gallop away in. It’s quite remote and unpopulated, but it adds freedom to the adventure. Do take note that this is fit for intermediate riders and above. It takes about five riding days in the tour and there are hotels available. Dingle Peninsula Trail provides not only the view of a scenic port town, but also those of beaches.
