Much like any country, Bulgaria has its own beauty and wonders. Tourists and locals flock all the attraction that the country has to offer. But with everything that it offers, what’s are the best ones to visit and experience? Birdwatching is one of the top things that tourists aim to experience in Bulgaria. With their 393 bird species, they also own the title of biggest European colony. It’s no surprise that it’s seen as a birding paradise. English speaking guides are available for the numerous birdwatching spots and if you’re lucky you can spot a rare species, you can also go bear watching if you wish. Never miss historic sites like the Buzludzha, a historic tower found atop the Central Balkan Mountains. Built by the Bulgarian communists during 1891, it fulfilled the role of a meeting place. It stood witness to the organized socialist movement and was the venue for the final battle between Bulgarian rebels and the Ottoman Empire. Buzludzha was never restored, its abandoned state only adds more to the surreal experience.
