Mother Nature give us so many miracle-like events that we feel we have seen it all. But nothing has yet to line up with the astonishing Northern Lights grandeur, otherworldly and mythical even. Not many parts of the world get to bask in its rays, most people need to head on north, right above the Arctic Circle, for a glimpse. Northern Norway is the right place to be if you really want to see for yourself, it doesn’t occur that much in southern Norway. The phenomenon occurs all year round, but can be seen clearest during the winter. However, the finest place to see it is in the Lofoten Islands, Tromsø and up to the North Cape. The very first time that you’ll get to see the Northern Light will be the best and most unforgettable one, better make it right. One of the greatest ways to see the Northern Lights is by dog sledding in Tromsø. Nothing beats an adventure as you wait for the lights to brighten up the sky.
