From Paris to Bruges: A Day Trip to Belgium

When spending your days in the one of the world’s most visited cities, you could use a day to change the scenery. Luckily, for those of you in Paris, Bruges is just a few hours away and makes for a delightful day trip. If you are thinking about how to get there, I would suggest renting a car for the day, as it only takes about three hours to drive from Paris to Bruges. If you or someone in your group is able to operate a manual stick shift, it will help you save a few dollars on the rental price. Do not worry if no one is able to drive a manual car; there are automatic options available as well. Make sure you pick up your car as soon as the rental company opens, so you can take full advantage of your day in Bruges. You won’t need to worry about any Customs procedures, making the drive even easier. Upon your arrival to Bruges, make your way through the cobblestone streets towards Market Square.
