The best thing about taking a vacation as a pensioner is that you don’t have to come home in time for work. That means you’re allowed far more flexibility when it comes to the amount of time you spend abroad. This city is the capital of Spain, and so it can be a little more expensive than alternative locations in this country. However, the experience you have will be much better.
Lisbon
Portugal isn’t too far away from Spain geographically, but the two are thousands of miles apart culturally. Opting to take a holiday in Lisbon will mean you get to experience some of the best food and entertainment available anywhere in the world. The Portuguese like to party, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself drinking cocktails and dancing until the early hours during your stay.
Agadir
Most people overlook North Africa when booking their summer vacation due to the conflicts that are happening at the moment. However, Morocco is a completely safe country where millions of tourists enjoy the sun each year. Agadir is the best seaside resort in the entire country, and it’s very cheap to arrange flights and accommodation here. Getting around via taxi doesn’t cost much either, so you don’t have to worry about booking transfers from the local airport.
