Family Vacations
Top Kid Attractions in Tunisia 2014

So you’re going to Tunisia but not totally sure whether your kids will enjoy it as much as you will, well there’s no need to worry with this North African country offering many attractions for kids of all ages.

Acqua Palace

Acqua Palace is a super fun water park located in the north of Sousse in location which is very well known for tourists Port El Kantaoui. This is the first and largest waterpark in Tunisia, all I can say is be prepared for your kids to not want to leave as they’ll love every bit of this thrilling park. The park is not only for older kids as there is a pool for the little ones with fun secure slides and not to forget they’re always updated their park with new attractions in the park this year. Whether you’re looking for a slide which is extremely thrilling such as the Toboggan Kamikaze reaching up to speeds of 50 km/h or you may feel like relaxing which is where the 200m lazy river will come in handy.

Carthageland

Another park for your kids to enjoy but instead it’s a theme park located in Hammamet which is a town well known for its beaches and is in fact the first tourist location of Tunisia. The theme park consists of 20 rides whether you want to take the breath-taking drop on the water flume or go venturing through the rapids of Carthageland in a round boat. There is also a mini zoo in the park featuring a variety of different animals from flamingos to squirrels or even cockatoos showing off their colourful feathers. If you wish to go to Carthageland or any other of these kid attractions you can get some fantastic offers on holidays to Tunisia at DirectLine Holidays.

Friguia Park

Want to experience some wild life in Hammamet? Well by visiting Friguia Park you’ll explore a variety of animals whether it’s the fastest land animal in the world Cheetah or the beautiful gleaming white Swans. Not only can you see animals here you can also experience something which you may only get to experience once which is swimming with Dolphins in the Dolphinarium which is for all ages but do remember to pre-book, this is a fantastic opportunity for kids to explore the animal world.

Blue Ice

It’s not every day that you get to glide around on an ice rink and it’s something as a family which you’ll all enjoy and something you just have to experience. The building is located in Yasmine Hammamet a beach resort just outside of Hammamet which has three storeys with a game room so if you’ve finished your ice skating session why not have a go at some pool or if you’re feeling hungry visit one of the restaurants or cafes.  This is a great place to as a family but do remember to take it slowly if you’ve never place a foot on an ice rink as it is easy to fall over!
